I had a fabulous tour with Mai today. What a great way to see a lot of Tokyo in a short amount of time and have someone help you navigate the language barriers and figure out transportation. It was such a relief to have everything planned out and customized to ky interests. Mai shared so much history about Japan with me, woven into our tour. Interesting insights and details I would have never known. I am finding many of my Japanese colleagues don’t know much of the information she shared with me. We had such a great first day exploring Tokyo with Taka as our tour guide. I was visiting with some friends from Brazil, and it was the perfect way to start our trip in Japan (we did it the first day and it was the right call) Taka was very kind, knowledgeable, and easy to spend the day with. He explained a lot about the city, the different neighborhoods, the local culture, and the history behind the places we visited. He took us to some of Tokyo’s main shrines, showed us areas like Shibuya and Harajuku, and helped us understand the city in a way we definitely would not have experienced on our own. Everything felt very well organized, but also relaxed and enjoyable. He was patient, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Taka to anyone visiting Tokyo, especially if it is your first time in the city. A group with my husband, sister, and best friend had the opportunity of hiring Taka from Tokyo Private tours for a 1 day tour on our first full day in Japan and let me tell you what a great decision we made. Taka was joyful, eager to show us around, and very helpful with everything we needed. Had the pleasure of doing a tour in Tokyo with tour guide Taka as my first day arriving from Brazil. The day was 10/10, a complete experience, he took os to cultural places (temples), places where we took amazing pictures (my wife and sister in law are very demanding with good pictures 😂 and Taka exceeded expectations) he also took us to eat tonkatsu which was delicious. I found it very comfortable for us since his english is perfect (not easy to find in Japan). Ive recommended Taka to multiple friends who also did tours and had the same experience as us.
