Are tours fully customizable?
Yes. Every itinerary is shaped around your interests, pace, hotel location, food preferences, and travel style. Before the tour, we send a short questionnaire and share a draft itinerary that we refine together.
What languages do your guides speak?
All tours are conducted in fluent English and Japanese by carefully selected local guides. We are comfortable assisting guests with no Japanese language ability — from menus to etiquette to navigation.
How do reservations work?
We operate on an advance reservation basis. Tour schedules are arranged based on each guest's itinerary and preferences. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability — at least 2-4 weeks ahead is recommended, especially during cherry blossom and autumn seasons.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes. Most tours are private walking tours using Tokyo's excellent public transportation when needed. Private vehicles can be arranged on request for larger groups, day trips, or special itineraries.
Do you offer food tours in Tokyo?
Yes. Our 6-hour Extended Half Day & Food Tour can include ramen, sushi, izakaya, market snacks, or neighborhood restaurants — chosen to match your preferences and dietary needs.
What happens if it rains?
Tours generally run in light rain — we may simply shift the route toward indoor highlights. In case of severe weather warnings, we may reschedule or cancel according to our Terms of Use.
Are tours suitable for older guests or those who walk slowly?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are in their 60s and 70s. We adjust the route, pace, and walking distance to suit you, and incorporate comfortable rest stops and seated moments throughout the day. Please share any mobility considerations in advance so we can plan with care.
Are tours suitable for children?
Yes. Routes can be designed with children in mind, including hands-on experiences, parks, and family-friendly meals. Strollers are easy to accommodate in most areas of Tokyo.
What is included in the price?
The price covers private guiding, language support, and pre-tour planning. Food, drinks, transportation, and attraction tickets are not included and are paid directly by guests.
How are prices displayed?
Prices are displayed per person for clarity, calculated from the total tour fee divided by the number of guests. The total amount is also shown alongside. Larger groups enjoy a better per-person rate.
How do we book?
You can book instantly via the website by selecting your tour length and group size (secure Stripe checkout in USD). You can also reach us by WhatsApp or email, and we will plan your customized itinerary together.
Do you offer day trips outside Tokyo?
Yes. We can arrange custom day trips to Hakone, Kamakura, or Nikko by request. These typically require a private vehicle and additional planning, so please contact us in advance.
