★★★★★As we planned our first trip to Tokyo from the US, we sought out a company to provide a private tour of the city. We found Tokyo Signature Tours. We arranged our tour on our first full day in Japan. The owner, Taka, met us at our hotel and led us on a walking tour through the city, using public transportation to get to various areas. A few of the locations included the Meiji Jingu shrine, the Kaminarimon Gate and Senso-ji Temple, Shibuya Crossing, Skytree, and the Ginza shopping area. To our surprise, Taka’s family owns a restaurant, Ueda in Ryogoku. Taka politely offered his recommendation to Ueda and we accepted. Taka shared his time with us over a fantastic Korean BBQ/ yakiniku-style meal. Taka is knowledgeable and speaks English fluently. He is friendly and courteous, and willing shares details of the Japanese culture that we otherwise would not have known. We were extremely fortunate to have found Tokyo Signature Tours and highly recommend Taka to others who wish to see Tokyo. We met as strangers and left feeling like family.Read full reviewShow less
